
Sales Development Representative
Job Description
Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential customers through various channels such as online research, social media, industry events, and marketing campaigns.
Qualification: Qualify leads by conducting initial discovery calls, understanding their needs, evaluating their fit for our products or services, and determining the potential for conversion into sales opportunities.
Appointment Setting: Schedule and coordinate appointments or product demonstrations between qualified leads and our sales executives. Participate in the appointment and retain meeting minutes, ensuring a seamless handoff and define next steps.
Pipeline Development: Nurture and develop leads that are not immediately sales-ready by conducting regular follow-ups and building relationships to keep our brand top of mind.
CRM Management: Accurately record and maintain all lead information, activities, and relevant data in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure proper lead tracking, reporting, and pipeline management.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts, share market intelligence, and provide feedback on lead quality and conversion rates.
Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively articulate our value proposition and differentiate our offerings during prospecting and qualification calls.
Metrics and Reporting: Regularly report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead generation activities, conversion rates, and pipeline progression, to evaluate your own performance and contribute to team targets.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience:
Previous experience in sales or lead generation, preferably in a B2B environment.
Technical Skills / Knowledge:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Proficient in using CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and other sales tools to track and manage leads.
Solid understanding of sales processes and the ability to quickly learn about our products or services.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
