Mailroom Clerk

Job Description

  • Open, organize and sort mailroom documents

  • Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and applications specific to the function

  • Requires strong attention to detail

  • Verbal and written communication skills must be clear, tactful, and constructive

  • ·Data entry skills

  • May require occasional lifting, standing, walking and bending and must be able to lift 50 pounds

  • Performs high speed, high volume production tasks such as printing and inserting documents to process general correspondence, cards, and inserts.

  • Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams, and other simple malfunctions as needed

Requirements

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Experience:

  • One or more years in an office or administrative setting

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

  • Basic MS Office computer skills

Other Skills Required

  • Ability to work independently or within a team

  • Time management skills

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Must be able to demonstrate sound decision making skills

  • Other duties as assigned
