
Mailroom Clerk
Job Description
Open, organize and sort mailroom documents
Proficient in the use of basic office equipment and applications specific to the function
Requires strong attention to detail
Verbal and written communication skills must be clear, tactful, and constructive
·Data entry skills
May require occasional lifting, standing, walking and bending and must be able to lift 50 pounds
Performs high speed, high volume production tasks such as printing and inserting documents to process general correspondence, cards, and inserts.
Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams, and other simple malfunctions as needed
Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
One or more years in an office or administrative setting
Technical Skills / Knowledge:
Basic MS Office computer skills

Ability to work independently or within a team
Time management skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Must be able to demonstrate sound decision making skills
