
Enrollment Specialist
Job Description
This position is not remote initially but with exceeding all metrics there is the opportunity for remote after training
Ensure compliance with all corporate and departmental standards
Follow all Client policies and procedures on updates to Health Exchange policies. This includes; Adding a new enrollment, adding a dependent, reinstating a member, adding or modifying a State subsidy, broker changes, PCP changes, Termination, etc.
Attention to detail
Meet all quality and production metrics.
Must be schooled in enrollment or Health Plan operations background such as claims processing.
Ability to communicate effectively with Trainer and Leadership to clarify correct processing
Team player that can be trusted to work independently and accept constructive guidance on any issues.
Self-starter that will take accountability for correct processing and refer to training material throughout processing.
Innate ability to maneuver around a keyboard with proficiency
Ability to multi-task on two platforms one being information from the State and the other the Client’s platform.
Ability to work flexible day hours and possible overtime.
Requirements
Experience:
One to three years experience working in a claims processing or Health Insurance environment
Technical Skills / Knowledge:
Understanding of eligibility/enrollment or health claims processing ·
Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical computation routines ·
Great understanding of medical and health plan operations.
Basic MS Office computer skills
