Enrollment Specialist

Job Description

This position is not remote initially but with exceeding all metrics there is the opportunity for remote after training 

  • Ensure compliance with all corporate and departmental standards 

  • Follow all Client policies and procedures on updates to Health Exchange policies. This includes; Adding a new enrollment, adding a dependent, reinstating a member, adding or modifying a State subsidy, broker changes, PCP changes, Termination, etc. 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Meet all quality and production metrics. 

  • Must be schooled in enrollment or Health Plan operations background such as claims processing. 

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Trainer and Leadership to clarify correct processing 

  • Team player that can be trusted to work independently and accept constructive guidance on any issues. 

  • Self-starter that will take accountability for correct processing and refer to training material throughout processing. 

  • Innate ability to maneuver around a keyboard with proficiency 

  • Ability to multi-task on two platforms one being information from the State and the other the Client’s platform. 

  • Ability to work flexible day hours and possible overtime.

Requirements

Experience:

  • One to three years experience working in a claims processing or Health Insurance environment 

 

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

  • Understanding of eligibility/enrollment or health claims processing · 

  • Ability to perform basic to intermediate mathematical computation routines · 

  • Great understanding of medical and health plan operations. 

  • Basic MS Office computer skills
