Company History & Milestones
Imagenet, founded in 2000 in Kent, WA, initially focused on proprietary source code development and entered the healthcare payer market. Over the years, the company expanded its operations, opening additional offices in Northern California, Phoenix, Arizona, Boise, Idaho, and Newport Beach, CA, by 2005. In 2009, Imagenet established an offshore subsidiary in the Philippines to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Technological advancements continued with the implementation of state-of-the-art OCR Technology in 2010, leading to industry-leading first-pass claims rates. By 2014, Imagenet ventured into the claims adjudication market and introduced Amazon Cloud Service. Expansion efforts extended to the east coast with new offices in Tampa, Florida, in 2015, followed by entry into the contact center market in 2016.
Notably, the company relocated its headquarters from Kent, Washington, to Tampa, Florida, in 2018. Collaborating with system integrators in 2019, Imagenet served 150 new payer clients across three states. Innovations persisted, with the introduction of Jetstream, a customizable workflow solution, and a robust anyshore data capture solution in 2020. Furthermore, Imagenet enhanced its Contact Center Offering with the addition of the Milestone Blue Plan in 2021 and provided post-pandemic support services for Digital Mailroom, Claims, and Contact Center.
The company's trajectory received a significant boost in 2022 with an investment from BV Investment Partners, marking a milestone in its growth journey. BV Investment Partners is one of the oldest and most experienced sector-focused private equity firms in North America. Since its founding in 1983, the firm has invested approximately $5.1 billion, actively targeting investments in the tech-enabled business services, software, and IT services industries.
